Oh ... Really?

Goofing off

Procrastination is the name of the game ... I fiddled around yesterday until way late, then I still had to go clean the house in Oak Ridge. I was there until almost midnight. Today, much the same. I sit here fooling around, not getting anything done. First on my list of things to do is get my nails done! OK! We can motivate on that!

But first, I am going to steal 3 minutes of your life ...

Aren't you glad I find this stuff for you???

Oh ... and Comcast didn't quite make the grade. It looked like all was good yesterday, but when I got home last night, we had no internet. I called ... got a load of excuses - modem not registered, account not provisioned, modem needs to be reset, wrong billing account, wrong outlet turned on ... yeah, yeah WTF-ever! Just get the dang thing turned on!

Ummmm...hate to ask, but...who is that?

I know, now I'm feeling a bit like a Sinatra-generation, Reelin' in the Years Fleetwood Mac/Strolling Bones cadaver, but I have to know.

Not that I would ever buy (or even steal) any of their stuff, but so I can drop their name around my daughter, so as to appear...happening.

Or is there a better word, now?

develop92 about when I stopped watching music videos...
;D

LOL ... I know what you mean. My kids are constantly reminding me how "out of it" I have gotten in my old age. Hey, my first album ever was Fleetwood Mac "Rumors" ... on 8-TRACK!

Those fellows comprise a group known as "OK Go" and their schtick is silly dance videos to go along with their tunes. Very unique ... apparently there is a bit of a craze over their dances. Here's a video compilation of other people doing one of their dances: http://tinyurl.com/38mjv3 ... the original is here: http://tinyurl.com/g2mte
This was cute - the dad, brothers and brother in law of a new bride did their version at her wedding: http://tinyurl.com/2wxfen

Most "popular" music leaves much to be desired, I have found. My tastes run to the unique and eclectic. A few years ago I discovered RadioParadise.com and that feeds my need for new stuff without having to sift through a bunch of crap.

BTW, FoxyTunes Planet is a great music search engine and if you use FireFox, you can get the FoxyTunes extension, which will hook into whatever media player you use so you can control it from the browser window, link to FoxyTunes Planet info pages, Twitter what you are listening to, and lots more (not to sound like an advertisement or anything ... I just really have enjoyed this particular extension!)

I have Comcast also. Get ready for every excuse you can think of and then a few more. I was without internet for 2 weeks because someone forgot to register my modem. It took longer to try to get them to pro-rate my bill.

Keep on knitting!

Hey, it's been over two weeks, and I still don't like it!

You must be studying some serious stuff, huh?

Give us a new post! We're jonesing out here! (another one of those old, meaningless references, jonesing...
