Ok, maybe I'm a little bitter because I see our kids here in this country, kids with lousy excuses for parents, going with out, and then kids in some other country are getting all this attention and all these people are falling all over themselves to help them out. These same people probably wouldn't buy a couple of extra notebooks to drop off at a needy school, yet they collected 30k to ship toys to Iraq. *sigh*

Yeah ... that is pretty bitter. Especially considering that the kids in Iraq don't even hardly dream of having a tenth of what the poorest American kid has.

I'm sure the outrage over Operation Give and this massive rip-off would be repeated in spades if it was an American kids' charity. And I'm also pretty sure that the folks giving to Chief Wiggles' project also give to charities closer to home as well.
