First socks!
My first attempt at socks ... not too bad, eh? Using ModaDea Sassy Stripes and their basic sock pattern. I did learn that I do not like working with double-pointed needles ... I felt like I was wrestling with Doc Ock (Spiderman II). Must learn Magic Loop or Two Circ knitting ...

Felted Clogs
Oh. My. God. This is so awesome! A couple weeks ago, at a Stitch 'n Bitch meeting, one of the gals was knitting clogs that would be felted. I was intrigued. No ... I became obsessed. I wanted a pair! So, I got the wool yarn and the pattern and set to work. This is the clog before felting. It measures about 12 inches long. Wayyyy too big for my petite size 6 feet. So into the washer they go!

And here they are, felted up and looking mah-velous, dahlink! I can hardly wait until they are dry so I can wear them! Oh wait ... it's hotter than blazes out there ... well, my feet do get a little chilly sometimes in the air conditioning. Oh, and this is my first completed knitting project! I'm so proud of myself! Now ... what's next?
